Our final Condor 98's! As we move toward the Wave for our lightweight backcountry ski, we're retiring this ski. It's a fantastic backcountry ski that has a full poplar wood core. It's a nice solid flex and has a rare trait for a ski that is a true mountaineering tool: a twin tip. This is a great ski for saving weight while maintaining the ability to ski hard. It is, above all else, reliable.
Developed with Teton Valley's own Dorian Densmore, the Condor is a hard charging ski with a long camber zone and turn radius which make it worthy of big lines, tight chutes, and variable conditions. It also features enough flex in the tip and tail to inspire jibbing. Its first year saw success as one of Powder Magazine's "Top 5 Ski Touring Ski of 2019" and we see it as a true one ski to rule them all, light enough to tour all day, stout enough to spin resort laps all season, and fun enough to keep skiing creative. This year it's back in multiple widths so you can beef it up to the unstoppable 116 or take it to new heights with the lightweight 98 under foot model that will be our choice for long missions into the backcountry or an all season east coast go to.
